Another singer songwriter concert in Kassel! Yes – and a special one indeed.
I’m looking forward very much to play this venue for the second time!
Is has been a beginners show last time. The whole “business” of playing a solo show was just too new for me to feel all comfortable and deliver something great. It surely wasn’t bad I’d say, but there was this problem with my self doubting side that I couldn’t truly enjoy the show when I got the feeling that I didn’t have the tools yet to express my feelings and musical visions to the audience.
I have changed since that day – you bet!
My guitar playing improves every day, my singing feels more free, and of course: My songs get better and most importantly: I got many more of them!
Writing (good) songs takes a lot of time. It’s about finding the right feeling, words, melodies, rhythms, harmonies and the right balance between all of them.
Besides the songs I’m gonna open up my world of guitar and synth sounds to you to lead you into my world of fantastic sounds and emotions floating around. This sides is still new to me and I feel very excited about sharing it with you.
So: It’s not a classical singer songwriter concert. The word “classic” never fit well with me – I’m working constantly on expressing my music and emotion cosmos to you. There’s no word that can fully embrace such dimensions.
So best thing to do:
Come and ride along! Dive deep.
And deeper.
