Pipes and Tubes' next round:
The St. Anna church in Wolfhagen is now for more than one year the working place of Jan Weige and so it's a home game for us to play here.
It's a lovely church with a wide acoustic and some space at the gallery for the listeners too.
We dive as usual through church music with an improvisational approach as well as songs of the Kaptain and some lovely covers everyone can sing along.
A colorfull experience indeed!

We got a short spot at the long music night at Adventskirche Wehlheiden, Kassel.
It's the first concert in this duo setting with Manuel Gehrke, pianist and old friend from Kassel and me on cello - and later on voice, too.
We gonna be playing the Beethoven variations on Mozarts "Bei Männern, welche Liebe fühlen", the famous aria from Die Zauberflöte.
Nevertheless we're taking it a bit further, adding the Kaptain's song "Nordseepirat" which is taking you somewhere else. In some ways this music is so different, but still it feels very much like being soul mates.

Be aware: our performance lasts for only 15 minutes.

The spontaneous version of the September gig - it was lovely to dive through some songs of my very first songbook, it's gonna be a fun medley of covers I love and some older originals.

‚Local Colours‘- Crossover-Festival in Kassel, Dock 4

Kassel ist vielseitig, cool und bunt… und Kassel wirkt ….

Kassel hat daher unterschiedlichste Musikszenen und hat bisher viele tolle Musiker hervorgebracht. Wir wollen daher diese tolle Vielfalt zeigen und laden Euch/Sie herzlich dazu ein, eine kleine Kostprobe davon bei dem 1sten Kasseler Festival ‚Local Colours‘ im Dock 4 kennenzulernen!

Mit dabei sind die Indie-Folkrockband ‚Puka‘ aus Kassel (Rock/Punk/Folk), die Sensationellen ‚Giant Crow‘ aus HH/KS (Neo-Psychodelic, Postpunk, Alternativerock) am Fr. 13.06.25 ab 19 Uhr und am Sa. 14.06.25 ab 19 Uhr die experimentell-groovenden ‚Tilla‘ (Rock/Jazz/Expertimental Cocktail mit Freestyle Rap-Topping) und das genreübergreifende Bandprojekt ‚Kaptain Clocks and Crew‘ (Rock/Klassik/Jazz).
