KC meets Johannes Lang - organ player at St. Thomas Church Leipzig

Johannes and me share a quite long story which intertwines musical and private projects in many ways.
He's been a blessed improviser since his early childhood and long before our first musical journeys I've witnessed his extraordinary joyful creativity that just naturally floods any church as soon as he starts playing.
So it didn't exactly came as a surprise when I got to know he'd overtake the responsibility of becoming the new organist at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, the place where J.S. Bach himself once lived, worked and created so much outstanding music.

It just happened on Christmas days a few weeks ago when we did our first session with organ and electric guitar.
It felt like diving into the deep and wild see.
Anything I'd play Johannes transforms into gold.

I feel honoured and grateful that he invited me for a Sunday evening service where our music journeys will just start to explore worlds we can only assume and dream of.
I'm looking forward!
